Get Involved

Being involved is a wise investment of your time and efforts and an overall benefit to your county and community

The Gualala Municipal Advisory Council (GMAC) consists of seven (7) council members and one alternate member, who are selected and appointed to serve by the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors.

GMAC’s effectiveness and accomplishments since 1991 have depended on community participation and the efforts of its present and past council members.

Vacancies occur through term expirations, resignations and normal attrition.

Qualified applicants must be registered Mendocino County voters, willing to attend and actively participate in regular monthly meetings.

Interested residents may inquire with the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors, at the following county website for information on vacancies and download an application.
